For essentially the entirety of my legal career, I have been handling medical malpractice cases.  A good portion of that time was spent defending medical institutions and medical professionals.  During my time as a defense lawyer, I found myself routinely troubled by the uphill battle malpractice victims face as they search for answers and accountability. Perhaps even more importantly, I longed for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.  As a plaintiff’s attorney who specializes in medical malpractice, I have the opportunity to do just that.  Each day, I wake up knowing I have the privilege of advocating for others and helping them manage the overwhelming stress that comes with being injured and bringing a lawsuit.

Outside of my law practice, I am privileged to be a husband and father.  I live with my family in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago, where I am involved in my local church and enjoy running, biking, tennis, exploring Chicago neighborhoods, and good food.
